Another decent app/UX spoiled by a crappy partnership. Theyve monetized Figure in a clumsy, painful way. The standard, useful export options appear to have been crippled in favor of some nonsense social service called allihoopa. THANKS GUYS I HAVE BEEN DYING TO FIND A WAY TO SHARE FILES WITH STRANGERS. There had to be a better way, Propellerhead. Ill keep my current version till I cant any longer or until this silliness blows over, otherwise... well, we had some good times.

What is happening to this app?

Oh my gosh! If you have an ear and an iPhone, you NEED to download Figure and post your music to Allihoopa!!!!!!

See this one star? This is what happens when you fight your customers in the Alps. No, you dont get to appropriate rights over our works. Go to Helheim. Deleted and not buying anything else from you. Whatever your strategy here is, I want no part in it--especially as Im one who PAID for this. Also not buying anything more from you. After all, whats to stop you pulling a stunt like this again?

Alihoopa, soundcloud exporting removed. What has happened to my beloved music app? It still has great synth sounds but I refuse to sign up for alihoopa. Plus that ugly bar for alihoopa needs to go. Figure you were great at one point, not so much anymore

If youre that person that doesnt want to be bothered with putting in time to learn an instrument but still want to say " listen to this track I made " this is your app.

Way to ruin one of my favorite apps. Nobody wants to join another social network or "tap here to be inspired". Here on the iPhone SE I need screen space to create. Nothing is more uninspiring than seeing that ugly word Allihoopa at the top of every page. Please add LINK support! Everyone wants it! How about individual instrument/track export? Also please add individual mute buttons on each drum sound. Ive made whole albums with Figure as a starting point - Id love it if it was more inspiring and easy to integrate Figure into pro DAWs.

Great app. Patches are high quality, but somewhat limiting. Would love a third track or even dynamic number of tracks.

For long-time users of this app, the toolbar decreases the amount of working space and disrupts the visual continuity of the app. On an emotional level, its as if the toolbar is saying, "The Alihoopa social network is more important than the music you are spending time to create." Before, this app was a music-making tool. Now, it is being used as a lead-in to a social networking paradigm. If I wanted a social networking app, I would have signed into the literally thousands of other social networks available in the App Store. Please, remove the banner, and put it into settings, so that users can choose if they want it to be a part of their music-making experience or not.

This used to be an awesome app but as soon as the Propellerhead namesake was gone so was the app ! All it does is crash load - bummer.

Did you guys update the Gamle och Havet synth? I had a song perfectly tuned and mastered in a specific way and I swear is sounds different now. What gives?

Figure is the most intuitive, fun, and spontaneously creative app Ive ever used. It is not a toy, but you guys are treating it like it is. The Alihoopa integration needs to be a hidden option available within the settings. I understand you guys are trying to make money by getting people to use social media, but please make a pro, paid version with no ads and an expanded workflow including the ability to automate every editable parameter, including key changes, the slice wheels, and everything in the mixer. You could also allow for volume adjustment for the separate drum sounds. A pro version should also feature the ability to export .fig files for back up purposes. I have hundreds of loops that I cant remove from the phone and save as an editable file; if I could just export .fig, I could keep things tidy. Maybe folders would be nice in the songs panel, like in GarageBand, so one could organize large numbers of songs more easily. Please ad Ableton link support as well. Figure is a very powerful musical tool. Please make a pro version. I would pay at least 9.99 for the above features and no ads and I doubt Im the only one. You could even charge for sound pack upgrades. So really, just leave Figure as is, Alihoopa and all, as a social media thing or whatever, but release a paid Figure Pro for the serious musicians, and I bet a lot of people would pay for it. This latest update includes a very cool way to access the patches, thanks for that. But I would still pay for a Figure Pro app that offered full automation for every editable parameter, ABLETON LINK SUPPORT, and the ability to export editable .fig files.

Coming back to this app after not using it for months, Ive found it to be in a worse state... First, Figure used to be owned by Propellerhead who now works apparently sold the app to Allihoopa. This wasnt bad until I noticed that the app keeps asking you to join their social media website. On top of that, they made it harder to upload any songs to Soundcloud. It used to be one button press away, but now you need an additional app to even upload it to another app. I wasnt planning on writing a review at all considering Ive had this app since close to the time it was released on the App Store. It saves the songs however if you do certain things like move the range of notes you used to record the song with, itll go back to the default range of notes. This leaves the song saved as though it were higher or lower (depending on how you moved it), making it impossible to export the song out of the app with the right notes still playing. Leaving 2 stars for what it used to be.

Subtle, but important improvements-much appreciated PH!

Whoever thinks allihoopa or figure isnt awesome just needs to reevaluate the program as a whole. The app itself allows you to litter ally make any type of beat. The allihoopa social site is great because it allows You not only to download your music but you can collab any song with anyone any time.

I am officially never using this app again after Allibaba bought the software
