Ill happily rate 5 stars with all the mentioned features, it would be more than an essential tool for interapp audio/audiobus ios music production! ;-)
I learned makin music with propheads reason its great playing around with it. Now with Figure we have something intended to be played around with. And as far as I can tell its 100% free, still cant believe it.
I am really amazed what is possible with this little thing. AfterI found it quite limited in terms of presets and effects Iayed around with it and now find it an inspiring tool to play with on a tube ride or during lunch break. 5 stars!
Thats the easiest app when it comes to create some music. I would like it more if we could choose certain bar sections to edit, not all of them.

A very well designed app. Its minimalistic song options are great for re-creating songs you would hear on the radio. But then this app falls short of being worth the download. With 16 preset rhythms for each instrument with note values that you cant change : (. You cant change the time signature or change the percussion from measure to measure. You can somewhat get away from the predictable rhythms by starting and stopping the beginning of a preset so only the first few notes record. This was the only way I could choose the exact timing of the notes. Unfortunately this only works for the bass and lead. Its a good app if you are just getting into song writing, but if youre looking for something in depth with lots of options, this isnt it.
This offers a way to share your created songs on social media/ internet, Although I wouldnt based on my personal taste.

This was once "the" most innovative music app for IOS when it was first created by Propellerheads. Allihoopa has turned it into a steaming pile of dog poo.

Currently, this app only exports via a third-party app so that you can copy to yet another third-party app just to export. This is lazy and unacceptable. There is no technical reason for this limitation. Furthermore, soundcloud export has been unplugged. One more warning: if you delete your app, dont expect there is any way to cloud save or backup to Dropbox. Figure --RIP You deserved better.
